On May 14/27, 2011, our newly-received hierarchs, His Eminence Metropolitan Moses and His Grace Bishop Sergios concelebrated with His Eminence Metropolitan Pavlos and His Grace Bishop Gregory, who was visiting from Greece, on the feast day of Saint Isidoros at our parish bearing his namesake in Bethpage, Long Island, NY.

Why do we Call Angels “Saint”?

Q. I noticed that we call the angels Michael and Gabriel "Saint." I thought the title "Saint" was only given to humans who have proven themselves Godly. Do you mind clarifying this for me? Is there a deeper meaning to "Saint" that I am not aware of?
