Novice Nathan Hagiosinaïtēs, who will soon be graduating from Saint Photios Orthodox Theological Seminary with the Bachelor of Theology degree, gave a lecture this term entitled “The Œcumenical Patriarchate’s Green Crusade: Ecumenism and Secularization.”

In this presentation, Brother Nathan details how environmentalism has its origin in the modern ecumenical movement and the implications this has for the Orthodox Church.This video includes the full lecture presented by Brother Nathan, as well as the question and answer session.

Iftar, refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the Islamic month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. Iftar is done right after sunset.
