Announcement of the Decisions of the Holy Eparchial Synod: Dec 31 2013/Jan 13 2014

On Monday, December 31, 2013/January 13, 2014, the Holy Eparchial Synod of the Church of the Genuine Orthodox Christians in America convened in a regular session via conference-call and discussed the following item on the agenda:

1. The list of candidates for election to the Metropolitan throne of America was discussed and compiled for submission to the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.

Q. There seems to be a lot of variation in how people observe fasting, but my confessor told me to fast from oil on Wednesday and Friday.
