His Eminence, Metropolitan Demetrius of America, President of our Eparchial Synod, together with His Eminence, Metropolitan Moses of Toronto, representing our North and South American flock, took part in the festivities of the glorification service of Saint John the New Almsgiver, founder of the Sacred Monastery of Saint Demetrius the Great Martyr, in Amphiali.
God willing we will have more information regarding Saint John soon.

We mustn’t have absolute trust in human beings for our salvation, no matter what dignity they have. Human beings are changeable. Today they are saints, tomorrow—deniers. Today—sinners, tomorrow—righteous. Q. I noticed that we call the angels Michael and Gabriel "Saint." I thought the title "Saint" was only given to humans who have proven themselves Godly. Do you mind clarifying this for me? Is there a deeper meaning to "Saint" that I am not aware of?
