Archimandrite Pavlos Stratigeas (the future Metropolitan of America) explains the Orthodox Christian perspective regarding abortion. This program was recorded on May 4, 1988, fourteen years after Roe vs. Wade permitted infanticide (the murder of unborn human beings) to become the law of the land. There have been 1.5 BILLION babies murdered through the barbarous technique of abortion since 1974.

Why do we Call Angels “Saint”?

Q. I noticed that we call the angels Michael and Gabriel "Saint." I thought the title "Saint" was only given to humans who have proven themselves Godly. Do you mind clarifying this for me? Is there a deeper meaning to "Saint" that I am not aware of?
