On Saturday, March 15/28, 2009, parishioners of our two missions in North Carolina, Nativity of the Holy Theotokos Orthodox Church in Greenville and St. Mark the Evangelist Orthodox Church in Raleigh, met in Greenville after Divine Liturgy to construct their first Kouvouklion for housing the Epitaphios for use in the Holy Friday procession. This year, the two missions will celebrate Holy Week together in Greenville.

St. John of Kronstadt Orthodox Church began as a mission parish in the year 2000, in a home chapel in Palm Coast, FL – a small town on Florida’s northeast coast located between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.
