St. Irene of Chrysovalantou Church in Washington Township, Michigan, has launched a new website using the same address: https://www.saint-irene.com They will be adding features and content in the coming months.

There is an important announcement on the homepage, about the parish's 10th anniversary celebration on St. Irene's feast day, the weekend of August 9-11 (n.s.), which will take the form of a spiritual retreat with lectures and discussions in addition to the divine services. Q. There seems to be a lot of variation in how people observe fasting, but my confessor told me to fast from oil on Wednesday and Friday.
