On Sunday October 26/November 8, His Eminence Metropolitan Demetrius delivered a powerful sermon in honor of Saint Demetrius, at the Monastery of Saint John of San Francisco, the Wonderworker. He begins by describing the significant qualities of this saint amongst saints (a second Apostle Paul) who has been so honored by the Church throughout the centuries. Furthermore, Metropolitan Demetrius uses the life of Saint Demetrius to show us how we can progress in the spiritual life.
